Celebrating Diwali

Will you be celebrating Diwali, the festival of light, with your family? Join in with these events happening across the UK in the coming weeks:

Visit Manchester’s Platt Field Park for food stalls, a lantern parade, performances, competitions and more on Sunday 28th October.

There will be dancing displays, live music and more in Trafalgar Square, London on Sunday 28th October.

Leicester is home to one of the largest Diwali celebrations outside India, with events throughout the festival and the big lights switch on at 6pm on 4th November.

The city of Birmingham will be celebrating Diwali with a fireworks display, dance workshops, face painting, a history exhibition, traditional food, book and toy stalls and more on 18th November.
