- 2 large avocados
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tomato
- 1 juiced lime
- salt and pepper
- 2 large pittas
How to make it
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the stones. Use a spoon to scrape the flesh into a bowl, and mash until smooth.
- Chop the garlic finely, and the tomato into small chunks. Add these to the avocado, then add the lime juice. Mix everything together well, and season to taste.
- To make the pitta chips, peel apart the halves of the pittas to make two thin ovals, then cut each oval into five or six thin strips.
- Spread the pitta strips out on a baking tray, and bake for about two minutes in a hot oven until they are crisp. Leave them to cool, then serve with the guacamole.
